For Harbor on iOS, Android or the web, email privacy@harboroffice.ai with the subject “Harbor account deletion request.” Tell us your account email and practice name, and whether you want to delete the account and associated data or specific information. Do not send clinical records, passwords or identity documents by ordinary email.
Harbor Office, Inc. will verify your authority and coordinate with your practice. You can start the request without signing in. We will confirm what can be deleted and explain any information that must be retained, the reason and the applicable retention period. Clinical records, signed consents, billing records, security records, backups and information subject to a legal hold may have different retention requirements. Information no longer required for those purposes is subject to deletion through the applicable process; account closure is not a promise of immediate erasure of every copy.
Uninstalling the app or revoking camera or microphone access does not delete information already sent. Contact your practice for continuing care and access to records. You may also request deletion of particular data without closing your account. See the Patient App Privacy Notice for details.
Harbor does not sell personal information to data brokers, advertising networks, or any other third party. We also do not share your personal information for "cross-context behavioral advertising." We never have.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Harbor automatically treats your visit as an opt-out from any non-essential tracking, targeted advertising, or data "sale" as defined by applicable state laws. You do not need to make a separate request.
If you are a patient of a Harbor-using therapy practice, your protected health information is governed by HIPAA (and, where applicable, 42 CFR Part 2 for substance use disorder records). Those laws give you specific rights — including the right to access your records, request restrictions on disclosure, and an accounting of disclosures. To exercise those rights, contact your therapy practice directly. Harbor will support your practice in fulfilling the request.
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@harboroffice.ai with the subject line "Privacy Request" and we will respond within the time required by your state's law. We will explain any permitted extension or denial and how to appeal where applicable. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling sensitive requests; please do not email clinical records or identity documents unless we arrange a secure method.
Harbor’s business marketing is directed to practices. The clinical service may process information about minor patients on behalf of their treating practice. The practice must establish the applicable patient or representative consent and confidentiality rights. Harbor does not sell children’s information or use patient PHI for advertising.
See our full Privacy Policy for additional detail on how we collect, use, and protect information.
